The Mising Students’ Association, Delhi (MiSAD) was established in 2002, not through structured planning but as a natural outcome of a shared sense of unity and purpose. Its foundation can be traced to a dedicated group of Mising students who regularly convened for cricket matches. These informal gatherings evolved into a platform for exchanging ideas, discussing challenges, and fostering camaraderie. From these interactions emerged a collective vision: the creation of an organization that would unify and empower Mising students in Delhi.

With this shared objective, MiSAD was formally established at the Delhi University sports grounds. Since its inception, it has served as a vital support system for Mising students, providing not only a sense of belonging but also a commitment to academic, cultural, and social upliftment.

Today, MiSAD continues to uphold its mission of fostering unity, preserving cultural heritage, and ensuring the well-being of its members.
